This project centers around making a set of scarves that are hand-dyed, screen-printed and illustrated in the form of a repeat pattern. I use a square piece of paper to hand draw my motifs so they overlap at the edges/seams, thus giving an infinitely repeating pattern. Drawing inspiration from the high fashion label Versace, I use insects, fruit, flowers and rococo elements. I turn my hand drawings into organic graphics and include a full color square.
