For this project I decided to make a loving birthday present for my partner. I wanted to make something ultra special and intimate for him because he deserves the world. I dyed my fabric pale yellow, red and chocolate. I screen-printed multicolor flowers, hearts, arabic and english sayings of "i love you" on each patch. I then cut the fabric and sewed each patch on by hand. Similar to a painters brush strokes, you can see my imperfections when sewing by hand. Although I could have used a machine, I wanted my partner to see the crooked stitch marks and that I took time and made these shirts with love.
